What is the Warm Guarantee?
We want you to feel confident switching to a heat pump. Our heat pump installations are backed by our warm guarantee.
We only recommend a heat pump when we're confident it’ll work well in your home. And we will design your new heating system so that your home stays perfectly heated.
Accurate heating system design
We always undertake a detailed heat loss survey:
It provides a thorough analysis of your home's construction and how it retains heat. It informs a heating system design that s tailored specifically to your home's characteristics.
We share a detailed Heat Loss Report with you that sets out what we plan to do, the specification of new kit and the target temperature for each room.
What we guarantee
If your heat pump cannot consistently meet the target temperatures in the Heat Loss Report, we will resolve it at our cost. Measures could include:
- Optimising your system's settings and controls.
- Make necessary adjustments to the installation.
- Replacing or upgrading parts or components.
We commit to resolve any identified issues preventing the target room temperatures from being achieved.
Your responsibilities
To maintain the guarantee, we ask that you:
- Operate the heat pump as intended
- Follow our recommended control settings
- Maintain your home's fabric and construction as surveyed
- Avoid practices that impede heating (such as leaving windows open for extended periods)
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of the heat pump
Guarantee Limitations
- Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of your heat pump installation
- The guarantee does not cover amounts related to government funding schemes
